Philosophy of our YOUTH Ministry

When they gather with the youth, they are instruments of the Holy Spirit to motivate, to facilitate, and to model discovering and obeying God as His disciples.

  2. For decades, an event-based model of ministry has been the mainstay of churches. We believe Jesus’ strategy for raising up disciples and disciple makers needs to become the foundation.

  3. We see our youth ministry as an opportunity to mentor our youth to become disciples that make disciples. We expect our youth to not just know the gospel, but to be able to share it and bring others to Christ.

  4. We are committed to servant leadership. This means that the Youth Minister and all team members are seeking to serve and to facilitate the development of our youth’s spiritual gifts.

  5. We seek to integrate youth ministry into all phases of church life, to create a culture that is intentionally intergenerational, striving to unite with and complement other church ministries and serving according to their gifts, and growing in relationships with members of all ages.
