Westside Table is a growing and diverse second campus of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church located in Atlanta’s Upper Westside (www.westsidetable.org). No matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome at our table.
We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to play an active role in communicating our church’s brand in a positive and authentic way that helps us build relationships and partner with the people of Atlanta’s Upper Westside.
Internship Description
The intern will gain experience in managing digital communications across multiple platforms and have opportunities for leadership development as part of a growing and innovative church in Northwest Atlanta. This is a paid internship that operates in a hybrid role with the opportunity to gain experience by participating in digital content and strategy while also participating in the life of Westside Table, including Sunday morning worship.
The intern will collaborate with the leadership team and assist Westside Table in effectively communicating our mission and vision. The intern will gain experience by participating in our church’s marketing plan and strategy, fostering fruitful social media interactions, producing and creating graphic design and content, analyzing metrics and making recommendations to increase reach and effectiveness.
The intern will also have the opportunity to participate in a strategic marketing process for Westside Table with an established Atlanta-based marketing firm and will also have the opportunity to regularly meet with and collaborate with marketing professionals who are part of Westside Table.
