We are a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization with a rich and evolving culture seeking a Special Events & Annual Giving Manager to assist with planning annual events and growing a donor portfolio.

Location: Administrative Offices with an active presence across all locations as well as within the larger community
Position Summary: The Special Events & Donor Relations Manager is responsible for planning and executing Wellspring Living’s annual fundraising events, managing third-party events, and actively participating in growing an assigned donor portfolio.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Event Planning and Event Management

Responsible for the leadership and fundraising goal for Wellspring Living’s annual fundraising events which net approximately $550,000 annually

Responsible for engaging corporate sponsors with the support of the Development Director

Create and communicate detailed project plans, timelines, and run-of-show to team

Act as event liaison with event coordinators, vendors, volunteer planning committees and/or host committees, participants in event programs, etc.

Prepare and monitor event budgets, track expenses and work with finance team to appropriately reconcile

Manage all day-of-event logistics, delegating specific tasks to team members

Work with communications team members on development of collateral, social media, promotional items, videos, e-communications, etc. related to each event

Manage follow-up of event attendees and participants, including reviewing feedback surveys

Manage all aspects of third-party fundraising events

Serve as liaison with individuals / group putting together the event

Collaborate with communications team members on necessary promotion

Facilitate timely and appropriate follow-up with groups that hold speaking engagements and third-party events
Annual Giving

Responsible for investor moves management (touches) and care of the assigned existing donor portfolio to include phone calls, one-on-one meetings, handwritten notes, end of year gifts, and other special occasions

Embraces a relationship-focused approach that cultivates and retains donors through weekly visits

Accurately track and document touch points in Salesforce

Assist with refining fundraising strategies and processes to ensure proper acknowledgement, recognition, and stewardship of donors

Supports the volunteer-led Young Professionals group, providing support to events, fundraising experiences, and other volunteer engagement activities

Professional Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in event management and/or nonprofit development with outstanding project management and relationship-building skills

Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including use of email and Microsoft Office suite

Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Position Requirements:

Moderate travel among Wellspring Living locations and others in the Metro Atlanta area

Must be able to lift objects up to 25 pounds and have the ability to work for long periods at a computer

Satisfactory criminal history background check; Clean Motor Vehicle Record
