Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in education, social work, or nursing
3+ years of experience with children or administrative work in a daycare setting (including one year in a staff supervisory capacity)
Ability to maintain workflow efficiency in a fast-paced environment ● Strong communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Programs
Compassionate and understanding of nature

Supervisor
Reports to the Director of Operations
Team Work
Work with GFAC teams and community members to identify information needs and appropriate methods for communicating with the community.
Meet regularly with community-based organizations (CBOs), local leaders and other notables to keep them informed about the program success and challenges.
Coordinate and facilitate monthly integrated community meetings with other sector staff and partners, and parents.
Take the lead in maintaining and updating community notice boards and support develop flyers, posters and other materials.
Work with technical advisors, field teams and others to develop messages and delivery for program participants and the community.
Collaborate with field teams to roll out messages and collaborate with the design, monitoring and evaluation team to monitor the messages’ effectiveness.
Attend regularly scheduled meetings with GFAC Full-time staff members.
Administration & Building Maintenance
Maintain required records according to GFAC and Licesning standards, including attendance records, immunization records, registration information, accident reports, discipline records, and fire evacuation records.
Ensures safety & upkeep of facilities and equipment.
Coordinates with GFAC facility and/or Director of Operations staff as needed to ensure the site is in compliance with licensing standards.
Responsible for ensuring developmentally appropriate classrooms including available materials, branded marketing materials, décor/appearance, and cleanliness utilizing the tools and resources for Accreditation and Licensing.
Assist in daily site maintenance to assure a clean and well-organized environment in which to work, play, and learn.
Ensure consistent safety and high-quality programs that focus on creating equity and justice for all through youth development best practices and programming models under the guidance of the Youth Development Center of Excellence.
Manages the application or renewal process for center accreditations as assigned.
Ensure that accurate up-to-date program demographics, attendance, and program outcome information is entered into the database.
Ensure the safety of all participants by being present during activities. Have a presence during activities to help direct traffic, control issues such as wandering and conflicts, and maintain a positive flow for participants every day.
Participate in all Girls For A Change and State licensing mandated staff training and follow-ups.
Participates in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement opportunities and initiatives.
Ensures the center’s community involvement through community-directed activities, Work-based Learning programs, and participation in community events.
Salary
Salary position based on experience $45,000- $50,500
Benefits
Paid Time Off – 10 days’ Vacation (to be available after 90 days of employment) and must be used within each fiscal year of employment, will not carry over
Sick Days – 5 days (to be available immediately upon the start of employment) and must be used within each of employment, will not carry over
Retirement - up to 4% of employer contribution (to be available after one year after employment)
Life Insurance – free after 90 days of employment
Reimburse Healthcare coverage – available immediately upon start of employment per ACA
Paid Holidays / Closing – recognized federal state holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Friday and Monday Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas (to occur during break 10-12 days) decided by the CEO, Mental Health Days 3- 5 per year ( decided by the CEO yearly)

SMART Goals
The SMART Goals will be an ongoing process to be updated every 6-12 months of employment and to be used in the Annual Performance Review.
The areas of concentration: Program Management, Process Improvement, Board Participation, Financial Literacy, Policies & Procedures, Human Resources, and Personal Development/Growth.
Program Management:
Specific: Identify and establish clear benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all active programs under the directorship.
Measurable: Develop at least three KPIs for each active program.
Achievable: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather relevant data and insights.
Relevant: Ensuring programs are on track and achieving intended outcomes.
Time-bound: Complete within the first nine months of employment.
Process Improvement:
Specific: Conduct a review of existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
Measurable: Identify and implement at least two major process improvements.
Achievable: Utilize feedback from staff and previous performance data.
Relevant: To streamline operations and enhance program efficiency.
Time-bound: Complete review and implement changes within the first 12 months.
Board Participation:
Specific: Actively engage in assigned board committee and staff meetings.
Measurable: Attend 100% of assigned meetings, take detailed notes, and provide at least one piece of actionable feedback per meeting.
Achievable: Set aside dedicated time for meeting preparation and engagement.
Relevant: Ensuring the program director's voice and perspective is represented.
Time-bound: Throughout the first 12 months of employment.
Financial Literacy:
Specific: Acquire knowledge on the organization's financial operations and budgeting process.
Measurable: Attend at least two financial workshops or courses related to the nonprofit sector.
Achievable: Seek recommendations from the finance department or external experts.
Relevant: To better understand and manage program budgets.
Time-bound: Within the first 12 months.
Program Management:
Specific: Identify and establish clear benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all active programs under the directorship.

Relevant: To keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Time-bound: Within the first 12 months.
