Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as public relations, marketing, or communications.
Proven experience in fundraising, particularly in securing $100k plus in major gifts from individuals or corporations. A minimum of five (5) years of fundraising experience is a plus.
High energy, positive, can-do attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail; high degree of initiative.
Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
Five (5) years plus donor management and relationship experience with donor database background, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with donors.
A solid understanding of finances and budgeting.

The position requires contact on a regular basis with individuals and groups which may or may not be part of the church's official structure. Computer Proficiency — Using data bases, CRM systems and fundraising platforms to support the program, set up functions, enter data, or process information, distribute information, collect data, and generate reports

Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships — Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
Communicating with Persons Outside the Organization — Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to members, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work — Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
Professionalism - Approaches others in a professional manner. Reacts well under pressure and always treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments. Demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and policies. Copes effectively with change and is comfortable working with uncertainty.
Teamwork - Contributes to building a positive team spirit by placing success of team above own interest. Supports other staff in their efforts towards a completed project.
Working Conditions:
Location: Remote
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday; flexible start and stop time)
Travel as required to attend meetings, training, or other events; outside the US may be necessary on occasion.
Evening and weekend meetings as necessary.
