KIDSNETT DIRECTOR
SUMMARY
The KidsNett Director is responsible for building and implementing a transformational experience
for the children (0-5th grade) of our church and our community in alignment with the vision of The
Nett Church. We seek a lay-led, pastor-directed, creative and innovative Children’s Ministry that
empowers adults to serve, increases the number of children and parents involved, and grows
disciples among children and parents/guardians. Part time. 15 hours per week.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (may include but are not limited to):
● Provide vision, direction and oversight for the KidsNett Ministry (ages birth to 5th grade).
● Prepare an annual budget, track expenditures, and stay within the budget.
● Create office hours schedule with Lead Pastor.
● Attend staff meetings and meet regularly with supervising pastor
● Offer full programming for KidsNett on Sunday morning in all applicable services.
● Team Development: Recruit, lead, guide & support volunteers and staff into leadership roles
for KidsNett.
● Develop and implement programming for the spiritual formation of children. Explore and review
curriculum with the supervising pastor.
● Follow Safe Sanctuary Guidelines and ensure safety & well-being of all children. Host annual
Safe Sanctuary training.
● Communicate monthly themes, events, and updates with parents throughout the week, and follow
up with those that are not in attendance.
● Collaborate with Outreach Director to implement ways for participation for KidsNett families
in Mission Sunday.
● Communicate and encourage Mission Sunday participation from KidsNett families.
● Create weekly KidsNett newsletter
● Develop and implement events throughout the year, as well as summer programs.
● Ensure that ministry spaces and signage are clear, current and focused on children and their
families. Develop and maintain safe, clean, and appealing environments.
● Develop and follow safe and accurate check-in procedures.
● Create environments, activities and programming for each age group (including special needs)
to facilitate learning.
● Respond to emails, texts, phone calls within 48 hours.

● Ability to work with children with special abilities.
● Desire to teach and mentor children and see every child grow in their faith.
● Effective in maintaining structure and order.
● Ability to exhibit professionalism with children, parents, and staff.
● Ability to learn new technology.
● Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired but not required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School or GED
Early Childhood experience.
Prior children’s ministry experience Valid Driver’s License
