GRMC is sponsoring the
Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary’s
annual Kettle Krush 5K
in Marietta Square on May 18 at 8 a.m. A tot trot for children ages 5 & under will also be held after the 5K.
Sign up today to participate on the “Grace Legs” team! To sign up online, click below. You can sign up to run, walk or even to support the cause as a phantom, but not to sweat! Just be sure to join the “Grace Legs” team when entering.
Cost to register online is $30 plus registration fee. Race registration forms will also be available at GRMC. For more information, contact Cindy Theiler at cindy.theiler1@gmail.com. All proceeds will help The Salvation Army to “krush” poverty, homelessness and human trafficking while supporting youth enrichment and veterans in metro Atlanta.
MUST Summer Lunch Packing |
GRMC is in need of 1 to 2 members to voluntarily coordinate GRMC’s initiative to purchase food & drink supplies and lead packing of kids’ individual summer food kits for MUST Ministries. The summer program runs June 1-July 31. GRMC would like to pack 200 kits again this year. PROJECT MAIL CALL
GRMC volunteers are needed on Saturday, June 8, from 10-11:15 a.m. to help pack customized boxes of needed supplies and goodies to send to U.S. military members overseas.
Packing session will be held at the home of Mary and Ed Ettel in east Cobb County.
To participate, all persons must sign up below.
Mission trip
Calling all persons interested in participating in a mission trip to Savannah, Georgia, now scheduled for Oct. 10-13, 2024. Volunteers will assist with meaningful home repairs for vulnerable senior adults and engage with vibrant social service agencies. No specific skills needed!
